Moth, arhar eases on sluggish demand

Prices of moth and arhar eased up to Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market owing to slackened demand at prevailing levels.
Traders said fall in demand at prevailing levels mainly led to decline in moth and arhar prices.
In the national capital, moth weakened by Rs 100 to Rs 4,800-5,100, while arhar and its dal dara variety shed Rs 50 each at Rs 4,250-4,350 and Rs 5,800-6,000 per quintal respectively as against yesterday's close.
Following were today's pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 4,200-4,800, Urad Chilka (local) 5,550-5,750, best 5,800-6,400, Dhoya 6,050-6,450, Moong 6,300-7,500, Dal Moong Chilka local 7,400-7,800, Moong Dhoya local 7,300-7,500 and best quality 8,000-8,100.

Masoor small 4,700-4,950, bold 4,900-5,000, Dal Masoor local 5,550-5,650, best quality 5,650-5,750, Malka local 5,100-5,400, best 5,300-5,400, Moth 4,800-5,100, Arhar 4,250-4,350, Dal Arhar Dara 5,800-6,000.
Gram 3,250-3,850, Gram Dal (local) 4,050-4,250, best quality 4,150-4,250, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,470, Rajdhani 1,470, Rajmah Chitra 7,200-10,700, Kabli Gram small 4,200-7,000,
