MP tourism dept to develop water sports complexes in Khandwa

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation will develop two water sports complexes with investment of Rs 30 crore in the neighbouring Khandwa district.
"A water sports complex will be developed at Hanumantia Tapu (island) situated in Indira Sagar dam with investment of Rs 20 crore with two house-boats, cruise boat, paddle boat, water scooter, motor boat, resorts, restaurants and water surfing facility," MPTDC general manager M N Jamali said.
Another water sports complex will be developed at Omkareshwar's Sailani Tapu with investment of Rs 10 crore.
Jamali also informed that a 'Rail Coach Restaurant' will be set up in Indore with an investment of Rs 5 crore.
MPTDC is looking for a place for the Rail Coach Restaurant, which would be housed in a converted coach. A similar restaurant is already operating in Bhopal.
