Thakre, who is a member of the legislative council, wrote to Deshmukh saying that on November 12, he had assured that he would go through the video footage to verify the BJP-led Maharashtra government's charge that Congress MLAs had allegedly manhandled Governor Rao when he came to deliver his first address to a joint sitting of the Maharashtra state legislature.
