Mughal Road rally to be held next month

The fifth edition of the Mughal Road rally will be held next month with a view to give fillip to sports activities and promote adventure sports in Jammu and Kashmir.
"The 5th Mughal road Motor Rally will commence from Srinagar on June 19. The rally will last for four days and shall pass through the different tourist resorts of the valley and culminate in Jammu division," an official spokesman said after a high-level meeting convened to review the arrangements for the event.
Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Shalindra Kumar chaired the meeting which was among others attended by Director Tourism Talat Parveez and senior civil and police officers, the spokesman said.

Threadbare discussions were held on various issues including security, stay, traffic management and other related issues for making the event successful, the spokesman said.
