Mumbai Ballard Estate Festival starts

The second edition of Mumbai Ballard Estate Festival (MBEF) that started from November 26-27 will be held on the last weekend of every month till May.
The festival promises to be a two-day extravaganza of culture, performances, films, shopping, food and more.
There will be street plays, stand up comedy acts and silent open-air cinema where one can enjoy the films under the stars.
There will be live performances on stage by various singers. Also for shopholics there is flea market where one can indulge in buying clothes, shoes, jewellery, stationery and etc. Also for foodies there are many live food counters and food trucks.

The opening weekend (November 26-27) was launched with huge fanfare as the festival, presented by Bombay Times, witnessed over 12,000 people present at the event.
"It was heartwarming to see such a terrific response in the second edition of the MBEF. We hosted over 12,000 guests over the weekend," said Shubhra Bhardwaj, Founder and Creative Director of Ferriswheel Entertainment Pvt Ltd in statement here.

Worldfest is their annual international Performing Arts Festival which attempts to bring the world together by showcasing sights and sounds from all four corners of the globe at Ballard Estate, Fort.
This edition will present diverse cultures from Sri Lanka, Egypt, Indonesia, Brazil, United Kingdom, Germany, Argentina, Afghanistan, Siberia, China, Poland, Colombia, Ethiopia and Spain.

Over 100 artists from these 14 countries, including dancers, musicians and singers will be performing at the Main Stage and Island Stage of the two-day festival.
