A contractor, accused in the Mumbra building collapse of 2013 in which 74 people were killed, has approached Bombay High Court for bail.
His bail application is expected to come up for hearing in due course.
Laxman Rathod, the contractor who carried out the entire construction, was arrested two months ago for the collapse of the building in Shil-Daighar area of Thane's Mumbra town in April 2013.
There are 27 accused in the case, of whom 25 have been arrested while two are still at large. Of the 25 arrested, 24 have already been granted bail by courts.
The two absconding accused in the case are - Dinesh Prajapati and Afran Farooq Raut.
A Thane court had earlier issued orders to attach the properties of the three accused - Rathod, Raut and Prajapati, a partner among the nine other developers of the building.
In all, 74 people were killed and 62 injured when the seven-storey structure, which was under construction, collapsed. The dead included 18 children.
