One killed, two injured as auto-rickshaw falls in ditch

One person was killed on the spot while two others were injured when an auto-rickshaw fell in a roadside ditch in Madhubani district, the police said.
The incident happened at Umgaon Chowk under Harlakhi police station and the deceased has been identified as the driver of the auto-rickshaw, Shambhu Kumar (27).
The accident occurred when the driver lost control of the auto-rickshaw. He died on the spot.
The police admitted the two injured to a nearby primary health centre and sent the body for postmortem.
