Leader of Opposition Arjun Munda today asked the Allahabad Bank to initiate steps in setting up more banks in rural Jharkhand and give a fillip in the efforts by farmers and small entrepreneurs.
"Efforts should be made to set up more banks in rural areas... Farmers, enterprises and the unemployed youth should get support from banks to prosper," the former chief minister told the Bank's manager Partho Dutt when he called on Munda at the latter's residence here.
