Muraleedharan receives Kalanidhi award

: Congress leader and MLA, K Muraleedharan today received the Kalanidhi-Saraswatha Award instituted for the best public servant by Kalanidhi, a city-based cultural forum.
Former diplomat T P Sreenivasan presented the award, comprising a cash prize of Rs 11,111 and citation, a release said here today.
The former KPCC president later contributed the prize money for the outfit's welfare programmes, it said.
Noted writer Ezhumattur Rajaraja Varma, C-DIT director Babu Gopalakrishnan and BJP leader Karamana Jayan were among the participants, the release added.
