Murder accused death: 3 police officers booked

Three police officers, including SHO and circle officer, were booked today in connection with alleged custodial death of a 25-year-old murder accused in Nagaur.
An FIR was lodged against the SHO, circle officer and additional SP-Makrana following a complaint by the victim's family, IG Ajmer Malini Agrawal said.
"The family members of the victim alleged that Venkesh Sharma died due to police atrocities. The postmortem was conducted and the report is awaited," another police officer said.
Sharma was a co-accused in a murder case which took place on October 24. He was taken for interrogation by the Nagaur police on Wednesday.

He complained of vomiting and loose motion following which he was admitted to JLN Hospital in Ajmer on Wednesday night. Venkesh died in the wee hours yesterday.
There was no atrocity or injury to him and the matter is being probed in a transparent manner,Agrawal said, adding he was not under arrest.
