A wild bear today attacked and seriously injured a tribal woman at village Samra in the buffer zone of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.
The bear suddenly appeared from the wild forest and caught Lalli Bai, wife of Makhan Baiga, while she was working in the backyard of her house, causing grievous injuries.

The woman was admitted to local Primary Health Centre (PHC) and forest department officials of Manpur range was informed about the incident, he added.
