Murder case witness shot at in UP

A murder case witness was allegedly shot at by around three persons here today when he was on his way to a court hearing near Gunarsa village.
Anil, a resident of Rankhadi village, was a witness in a murder case, Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehat, Jagdish Sharma said.
The victim was going to court for a hearing when two to three people fired upon him near Gunarsa village today, the SSP said.
Anil received bullet injuries on his leg and has been admitted to hospital, he said.
Police have launched a manhunt to nab the assailants, Sharma added.
