In a meeting of the Carnival Committee, last evening, headed by local MLA Ganesh Joshi, it was decided that special emphasis will be laid on the extensive broadcast and promotion for the event this year, in order to make it a success and to attract tourism, a government release said.
The committee also took a decision to invite celebrities like, Kailash Kher, Neha Kakkar, Tom Alter, rapper-singer Badshah, comedian Khayali and other local performers to perform at the event which will be held from December 25 to December 30.
Development officer Alok Kumar Pandey said the entry tickets for the carnival have been divided into three categories. One ticket costs Rs 300, couple entry ticket is priced at Rs 500 and tickets for the entire duration of carnival will cost Rs 1500.
Pandey also urged officials to dutifully carry out the tasks delegated to them for the smooth execution of the carnival.
