Nadda to visit home state for first time after assuming office

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J P Nadda will pay a two-day visit to his home state Shimla, starting from Saturday, where he would be accorded a warm welcome by Himachal BJP workers
This will be Nadda's first visit to Himachal after joining the Union Cabinet.
The newly-appointed Union Health Minister would be received by workers from Sirmaur district at Himachal Bhawan on November 15, following which he will be felicitated by workers in Solan district.
The BJP workers of Shimla Rural constituency would welcome the minister at Shoghi while a function would be organised at BJP headquarters "Deep Kamal" at Chakkar in Shimla to welcome Nadda on his first visit to the state after becoming Union Minister.
Nadda would meet party workers and other visitors at Peterhof in the afternoon and leave for his home district of Bilaspur in the morning on November 16, party spokesman Ganesh Dutt said.
The minister would be accorded a formal welcome by the BJP workers enroute Bilaspur at Ghanahatti, Galog, Darlaghat, Bhararighat, Kotkehloor, and Nauni before arriving at Bilaspur rest house.
Later, he would leave for Delhi in the afternoon.
A meeting of BJP leaders would be held tomorrow under the chairmanship of state party Chief Satpal Singh Satti in conection with the visit.
