Sources said that Prakash visited Doordarshan offices in Mandi House this evening and had consultations with senior officials and staff of the channels on various aspects.
"The Chairperson told us that while Doordarshan does a lot of good work, there can be improvement in the way the content is presented. During the discussions, someone suggested that the colour scheme of Doordarshan can be improved.
"He also suggested that there should be one DD News channel in English and another in Hindi, rather than the present bilingual news channel," a Doordarshan official said.
