During his tour of Kadapa district, the home turf of YSRC chief and Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Naidu inaugurated a slew of projects and also laid foundation stones for development works worth Rs 142 crore.
The TDP-led government is committed to all-round development of the state's 13 districts, including Kadapa, he said.
Naidu was addressing a public meeting this evening after inaugurating the new Collectorate building here.
Under its AP FiberNet project, the government will provide low-cost broadband Internet services with 15-30 MB speed to every household, the Chief Minister said.
Later, he inaugurated Somasila back water lift irrigation scheme, which has been completed in nine months with a cost of Rs 34 crore.
The CM also inaugurated 'Sri Rama Colony', constructed to rehabilitate the people who were moved out to build Sri Rama Temple at Ontimitta near here.
At one of the functions, he said his government was committed to complete phase II of GNSS (Galeru-Nagiri Sujala Sravanti), which will provide water to Chittoor district.
He lambasted the previous Governments for allowing the people to install idols and statues at will. "But TDP government will not allow such things.
