Nat Excellence Award for Roof Top Solar Power Projs to Vikram

The Centre today honoured Vikram Solar with the National Excellence Award for Roof Top Solar Power Projects in the domestic solar module manufacturers category.
Minister of State for Power, Coal and New and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal presented the award today at the National Workshop on Roof Top Solar Power at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi.
Vikram Solar commissioned many prestigious rooftop projects in the past year including a two MW plant at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport.
The company also commissioned a project at the St Xavier's College and a rooftop solar plant at the Kalighat temple here.

Vikram Solar also executed a 750 kWp solar plant at the Calicut International Airport.
"This recognition by the Government of India is a motivation for us to excel further and set new benchmarks in the industry. As the Indian solar industry grows and technology evolves, focus on quality will have to increase. We always believe that good quality modules are critical in determining the bankability of a solar project," President and Chief Technology Officer of Vikram Solar Ivan Saha said.
