Naveen Patnaik joins Facebook

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has joined Facebook and launched an official page 'Naveen Odisha'.
He joined Facebook yesterday and in his first update posted 'Jai Jagannath' and a picture of the annual Ratha Yatra festival of Puri. The page has above 40,500 likes so far.
Patnaik had joined Twitter in September last year.
A release issued by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said Patnaik's Facebook page will facilitate feedback from people and promote better delivery of services and governance.
It also said Patnaik's office will be the first CMO to use live streaming facility as confirmed by Facebook.
