NDFB(S) militant apprehended

A hardcore NDFB(S) militant was apprehended during an operation by security forces in Assam's Chirang district today.
Acting on specific information, a team of army and police personnel launched an operation in Bengtol area this morning and arrested the militant, a defence spokesman said here.
A 7.65 mm pistol with magazine and some live rounds were recovered from the militant, identified as Mahendro Chumparamary alias Rangkw.
