Raha, who is the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (COSC), also emphasised on strengthening base security to preserve the expensive assets of IAF, both equipment and human.
He said this during his interaction with Command Staff and Station commanders during his two-day visit to Kerala along with his wife Lily Raha.
While complimenting the Air Warriors of SAC on their diligence, he exhorted them to be good professionals and operationalise the new equipment in a systematic manner, a Defence press release said.
The Air Chief Marshal also laid stress on the requirement of focusing on key result areas and training and professional competency to achieve high levels of aerospace safety.
The Air Chief Marshal had arrived here yesterday on a two-day visit.
