A Nepali youth pursuing Chartered Accountancy here died after falling from the fourth floor of a building in east Delhi's Shakarpur area in the wee hours today, police said.
It was not immediately known whether he committed suicide or it was accidental death or murder, police said.
Sobin Ray (22) was found in a pool of blood beneath the building he lived in at around 3:30 AM. Police rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
"Ray lived in the building with two of his friends. We have not recovered any suicide note from his possession. It is not clear whether he committed suicide," a police official said.
Ray had been studying for CA at a private institute and residing in a rented accommodation with two of his classmates.
"A case has been registered and we are questioning Ray's friends to determine what led him to take this extreme decision," police said.
