Newly married woman commits suicide

Asha Devi (19), set herself on fire yesterday after sprinkling kerosene, they said, adding, a case of dowry death has been lodged against her husband Babloo and mother-in-law Maya Devi.

Asha's father Daya Chand alleged that his daughter, who got married to Babloo on June 29, 2012, was cruelly harassed for more dowry by her in-laws following which she ended her life.
