Nine held for various crimes

: Nine persons involved in various cases were arrested today at Devipattinam in this district and various stolen items recovered from them, police said.
The items seized included Rs 90,000 worth of liquor, Rs 34,000 stolen from a petrol bunk, a computer pilfered from a post office, they said
The nine were arrested when their car was intercepted after a chase during a vehicle check.
They were questioned and reportedly confessed to having committed the crimes. A search is on for two others, police said.
