The Boys U-16 final between the two Akhtar Ali-coached players turned out to be a damp squib as Somani's free-flowing errors made it a no contest.
Fourth seed Nitin, who hails from West Bengal won the final 6-3 6-0 against Assam-based Somani.
"I made a lot of errors today. It (game) just did not work today. He played very aggressively," Somani, who lost his serve six times, said after the match.
There was a good fight between Sabhyata, Delhi's class 10th student and Gujarat's Akansha in the girls final with the former eventually winning 7-5 7-5.
"I expected a good win but she really made it tough for me," Sabhyata, who trains under Aditya Sachdeva, said.
The petite Akansha said she gave it her all and has learnt her lesson for future.
The Under-14 boys titles was won by Mann Maulik Shah, who beat Shashikant Rajput 6-1 6-2 in the final.
