No free telephone facility for Punjab employees, limit fixed

The Punjab government has withdrawn free telephone facility which was provided at the residences of its employees.
The state government employees will now be entitled for fixed communication reimbursement.
The officials will now have to get telephone connections at their personal capacity, and submit their phone and internet bills for reimbursement, which will be up to a fixed limit.
Earlier, the government was bearing the entire telephone expenses of government officials at their residences.
