"There has been no incident of industrial violence or conflict in the capital city. Delhi is a model state where there has been no loss of man-days,"he said while addressing the 43rd Conference of Labour Ministers.
He said the city government was giving priority to implementation of National Child Labour Project and has adopted a convergence mode for rehabilitation of child labour.
"The implementation of NCLP not only enables problems of child labour but also helps educate and rehabilitate them in real sense," the Minister said.
The government has been liberal in educating child labour as it has proposed rental amount for starting a school from Rs 1,000 to Rs 8,000 per month. Similarly, monthly remuneration of teachers has also been enhanced substantially, he added.
