Microsoft Devices today announced launch affordable smartphones that run Android applications of Nokia XL, the flagship large screen offering under the Nokia X family, here.
With a 5 inch IPS capacitive colour touch screen, the Nokia XL brings the much desired large screen experience at Rs 11,489, Kislay Kumar, Regional General Manager- East, Nokia India told reporters here.
He said that the device augments the imaging experience with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls on Skype and a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and flash.

TenTenTen creates on-demand video replay product for Twitter * Digital solutions firm TenTenTen Digital today said it has collaborated with StarSports and Twitter to conceive and create 'Tweeplay', one of the first ever on-demand video replay products for Twitter in the world.
The product knits together video content with conversations on Twitter and is an important break through for brands and marketers looking for ways to contextually and unobtrusively engage with their audience on the social network, the Bangalore-based firm said in a release.
The first experiment for Tweeplay is the Pepsi IPL Playoffs where StarSports.Com is using Tweeplay to provide Twitter video replays, it added.

Indusface launches IndusGuard web application firewall * Application security firm Indusface today announced the launch IndusGuard WAF, a SECaaS (security as a service) Web Application Firewall and Fully Managed Application DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) solution.
IndusGuard WAF provides out-of-the-box, plug and play, real-time monitoring and protection for critical web applications in the cloud and on premise and is the industry's first to guarantee zero WAF false positive, it said in a release.
With the launch the firm is targeting the over USD 1 billion global Web Application Firewall (WAF) market.

Aakash launches eLearning portal iConnect * Aakash Educational Services today launched iConnect, an eLearning portal provides access to the firm's video lectures, study materials and tests online.
The portal is targeted at class XI and XII students aspiring for Medical and Engineering entrance exams as well as class VIII, IX and X students aiming to perform well in their school/board exams besides junior level competitive exams like NTSE, KVPY, JSTSE, Olympiads etc, it said in a release.
Aakash iConnect gives students a flexibility to choose what they want, they can buy the complete course or just a Subject/Chapter of their choice. Chapters are available at price starting from Rs 99 and packages price start from Rs 10,999. The portal will soon be launched on Google Play and App Store.
