Obama: UN vote reflects 'broad consensus' for Iran agreement

President Barack Obama says the UN Security Council's vote to approve the Iran nuclear deal shows there is a broad consensus that the agreement is the best way to ensure that Iran does not get a nuclear weapon.
Obama told reporters today he's hopeful Congress "will pay attention to that broad-based consensus."
Congress has 60 days to review the agreement, which has attracted heavy opposition from Republican legislators.
The Security Council unanimously endorsed the landmark nuclear deal today and authorised a series of measures leading to the end of UN sanctions that have hurt Iran's economy.
Obama spoke to reporters at the outset of an Oval Office meeting with the new Nigerian president.
