A Kuala Lumpur-bound Oman Air flight from Muscat with 226 passengers and 11 crew on board made an emergency landing here today following a mid-air bomb scare.
After the plane made an emergency landing, it was taken to an isolation bay and fire service and bomb disposal squad were deployed.
Security agencies searched and frisked each and every passenger and baggage but nothing was found, Mumbai Airport spokesperson said.
Later, the aircraft has been cleared by security agencies after inspection of passengers, check-in baggage and cargo.
