One arrested on cow slaughter charges

One person allegedly involved in cow slaughter was arrested from Gaddha colony today from where two other accused have gone absconding, an official said here.
On the accusation of cow slaughter, one Bajuuddin was arrested, whereas two other accused - Imran and Momeen - who are also his sons, managed to flee, Tronica police said.
"One persons has been arrested and his two sons managed to flee. They have been booked under the Cow Slaughter Act," Deputy SP Anil Yadav told PTI.
Police said they have recovered "meat, knife and Rs 2,700 in cash from him".
