A senior Customs official said the tablets were being shipped from Bhuj in Gujarat and were bound for Manipur.
The carrier was nabbed soon after he deboarded a flight which arrived from Mumbai. The person was carrying the tablets, estimated to be worth lakhs of rupees, in two bags.
The identity of the apprehended person and further details regarding the operation was not immediately disclosed.
As per preliminary findings, the accused had purchased the tablets at Bhuj and transported the substance by road to Mumbai and then took a flight to Guwahati. He was planning to board a flight to Imphal.
