One-day conference on rural schemes for farmers

A one-day conference to apprise farmers about schemes undertaken by the government for upliftment of rural sector will be held here on April 30, officials said today.
The conference at the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Veterinary University and Cow Research Centre will be inaugurated by BJP MP and actor Hema Malini, Krishi Vigyan Kendra co-ordinator S K Mishra said today.
During the conference, farmers and animal rearers will be apprised of schemes for rural sector, like the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (PMFBY), Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY), and Rashtriya Gokul Mission among others, and can get answers to any queries they may have, he said.
