One killed, 2 injured in road mishap

A woman was killed and two other persons were injured, when their car collided head-on with a truck on the Moga-Ferozepur highway, police said today.
The ill-fated car was coming from Talwandi Bhai to Moga when the mishap took place last night near Dagru village, 16 km from here, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Neetu Goel, they said.
The injured persons were hospitalised and one of them was reported to be in a critical condition, they said.
The truck driver Jaswant Singh, who belongs to Kot Karor Kalan in Ferozepur district, has been arrested and a case has been registered against him, police said.
