One killed, 3 injured in gas cylinder explosion in factory

A worker was killed and three others were seriously injured when a gas cylinder exploded in a private factory in Assam's Kamrup district today.
Police said the cylinder kept in the factory, which is situated at Madanpur, exploded killing one person.
Following this, agitated workers went on a rampage, destroying property and setting ablaze two bikes and a truck.
Fire tenders rushed to spot and the fire was doused after an hour.
The situation was brought under control by senior police and civil officials who rushed to the area.
The injured have been shifted to the Gauhati Medical College Hospital.
