A motorcyclist, identified as Munna Kumar (25) was killed while another person was injured, police said.
Kumar, a native of Bihar, was residing in Faridabad. He was visiting Noida for work with a friend when the mishap occurred.
The pole also fell on an Alto car parked there. Manish Joshi, who was sitting inside the vehicle, escaped unharmed though the car was damaged.
ASP Gaurav Grover said no complaint has been received so far.
