The machine blasted at the D S Group rubber factory this afternoon killing a labourer, identified as Birendra Debbarma on the spot and seriously injuring two other labourers Naresh Debbarma and Pabitra Debbarma, they said.
The two injured were admitted to the Agartala Government Medical College here and their condition was stated to be critical, they said.
A complaint was registered in this connection and an investigation has been initiated as a large number of labourers in the factory alleged that safety norms were flouted which led to the accident, police said.
