Dinesh Babu, who was admitted Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences(MIMS) hospital on February 10, was declared brain dead yesterday following intra-cranial bleeding.
Babu's wife and other relatives expressed their willingness to donate his organs, a hospital release said.
Two kidneys will be donated to two different patients at MIMS Hospital Calicut and Eyes will be donated to two different patients in Comtrust eye Hospital, Calicut.
A team of doctors, comprising Gastro Enterologist Dr Rajesh Nambiar and Urologists and Nephrologists, are conducting the transplant surgeries, the release added.
