Over 100 girl students given solar lights for better grades

More than 100 girl students were today given solar lights by a ruling Samajwadi Party MLA as incentives for their good performance in studies here.
Gauriganj MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh and District Magistrate Chandra Kant Pandey distributed the lamps to 117 girl students of Kasturba Gandhi Girls residential schools.
Basic education officer Rajkumar Pandit said in Amethi, total 13 Kasturba Gandhi Girls residential schools are functioning.
