"During last two years 21,205 police officers/personnel were deputed for training in different courses, including specialised courses by army, BSF, CRPF and BPRD (Board of Police Research and Development)," Omar said in a written reply to a question from National Conference MLC Javed Rana in the Legislative Coucil.
This has been done to meet the present and future challenges successfully and the training of the police personnel has been given top priority, Omar said.
