Overcast conditions in capital

Overcast conditions prevailed in the national capital today with the minimum temperature settling at 15.4 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, three notches notches above normal, a MeT department official said.
Visibility was recorded at 3,000 metres at 5.30 AM which reduced to 1,500 meters at 8.30 AM. It then improved to 1,800 meters at 11.30 AM.
Humidity oscillated between 81 and 52 per cent.
The MeT office has predicted partly cloudy skies for tomorrow with the possibility of haze in the morning.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. Mist/haze is likely in some places in the morning. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle at around 27 degrees and 15 degrees Celsius respectively," the official said.

Private forecasting agency Skymet Weather said the rising trend in temperatures is likely to continue for some more days due to "back-to-back Western Disturbances approaching Jammu and Kashmir".
It is an atmospheric phenomenon that brings in moisture-laden winds and cloud cover while preventing incursion of cold winds, the agency said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 27.6 and 13 degrees respectively.
