Headed by Congress MP KV Thomas, the parliamentary team examined the maintenance of cleanliness at stations and interacted with passengers and porters to have feedback on railway services.
They also discussed various issues relating to passenger amenities and modernisation of stations with the Northern Railway General Manager A K Puthia and senior officers of Railway Ministry, said a senior Ministry official.
The team also visited the CCTV controlling room.
Since there are always complaints against quality of food being served at rail premises, the team inspected the catering facility at the platform.
