"This is the first ever official legal tender coin issued by any country in the world on Sri Sai Baba. The coin is minted by Helvetic Mint of Switzerland with Swiss hallmark and made of pure silver," Ravi Sevak of Sevak Hobby organisation told reporters here.
In association with numismatic Alok Goyal who runs coins-n-coins.Com, Sevak has the sole selling rights for the coins.
Weighing 1 Oz (31.1 grams), the collectors' edition coin is issued in limited 501 pieces for worldwide market.
One side of the coin has a coloured photograph of the saint in sitting posture while the other side features Queen Elizabeth II.
