The agitation was led by Thane BJP vice president Laxmidevi Hazari, Palghar MNS ladies wing president Geeta Sankhe and Palghar Shiv Sena ladies wing president Parvati Rajput.
A memoramdum addressed to the Prime Minister demanding death penalty for rape was handed over to Palghar tehsildar.
