Pali's Cong functionary dies in road mishap

General Secretary of Pali district Congress unit Ratan Panwar died in a road mishap at Datia Balaji Mandir in the district, a party spokesman said today.
He was 40.
The accident happened last night when the leader was returning from a marriage ceremony from Sojat in a car, the police said.
According to the driver of the car, the accident occurred probably due to sudden fault in the steering, they said.
The driver was also injured and has been admitted to a local hospital, they said.
The Congress spokesman said Panwar was active in politics as General Secretary of Pali Congress district unit.
He was cremated at Pali this morning.
