Panchayat leader arrested on graft charges
Police said the head of Madhukuchi gaon panchayat near Rangiya was arrested after the district administration filed an FIR against him for embezzlement of money from various rural development schemes.
The FIR was filed after the district administration carried out an inquiry into the person's activities.
While the exact amount allegedly siphoned off is yet to known.
