Talking to the media, Patankar said that after the meeting with BJP Pradesh president on December 23, he was manhandled in his cabin as an immediate fall out of cross voting by BJP member Ajay Joshi in the elections to the office of the chairman of the Transport Committee.
Patankar alleged that it was the leader of the BJP group in the Thane civic corporation Sanjay Waghule who had struck a deal with the NCP for Rs 2 crore during the election for the office of the standing committee chairman.
