"Since the price of crude oil has dipped considerably in the last few months when compared to the price during the period of UPA government, so it was possible to slash the price of petrol and diesel by Rs 30 and 20 respectively from the present rate," Chandy said at a Congress party function here.
The CM said price of petroleum products were hiked during UPA Government due to the increase in the price of crude oil in the International market.
Chandy inaugurated the KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) bus station constructed at Thazheyangadi in the district.
