UP: Youth stabbed to death in suspected honour killing

In a suspected case of honour killing, a 20-year-old youth was stabbed to death and a girl tortured allegedly by her family members in Gangevar Colony in Kasganj area here this morning, police said.
Bablu, who had gone to meet the girl at her house last night, was locked in a room by the family members who also tortured both of them the entire night and killed him early this morning, police said, quoting an FIR lodged by the youth's family.
The family said that the deceased had also made a call seeking their help but before they could reach Kasganj, he was killed, they said.

ASP Kasganj Radha Mohan Bharadwaj said the body was found in the room while the girl was found in an injured condition.
After interrogating the girl, an FIR has been lodged against four of her family members, who were all absconding, the ASP added.
