Plea to trace TN woman who married Lankan national

A woman has sought the help of the district administration here to trace her 27-year-old daughter who is married to a Sri Lankan national and residing in Colombo, saying that she has not heard from her since 2015.
In a memorandum to the District Collector, Kanaka, hailing from Maniyachi, said her daughter Thangam had married Vigneswaran alias Kannan of Bandaranayaka area in Colombo in April, 2011.
The couple was staying in Maniyanchi and had two girl children before they left for Colombo in 2014. Later, her daughter gave birth to a male child. She used to talk to her over phone frequently from Colombo thereafter, Kanaka said.

However, since 2015, her daughter had not contacted her, the woman said, requesting the Collector to help in tracing her daughter and grandchildren.
