PM wishes speedy recovery of Saudi King

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spoke to Saudi Crown Prince Salman and conveyed his best wishes for the speedy recovery of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
An official statement here said that Modi had a telephonic conversation with Crown Prince Salman.
The Prime Minister enquired about the health of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He conveyed his best wishes for the speedy and complete recovery of King Abdullah, the statement added.
Modi also conveyed his best wishes to Crown Prince Salman for the discharge of his current duties and national responsibilities, the statement further said.
It may be recalled that 90-year-old Abdullah, who assumed the throne in 2005, has suffered frequent bouts of ill health in recent years.
